My idea is for Napster ads to stop lying.

Finally, sitting down reading the Sunday newspaper. Yes, kids, it's that black & white thing with words on it, that turns your fingertips black, like a magic trick gone wrong. Anyway, you know me by now, I have to pull out the Best Buy circular to see what new gizmo I need now and of course to check out the lack of Napster advertising. But guess what? On page 12 under New Releases, nappy had a little ad. "Napster Digital Music. Over 20 Valentine's playlist to share with your loved ones." I'm thinking, Napster has Valentine playlists? That's news to me. So of course I have got to hunt them down. I go over to the left to Explore Napster. Check under Playlists by Genres. Hmmm nothing there. How about Playlists by Category. That's got to be the place. Festivals, nah....Happy, nope.....Romantic??, I only find 2 lists that have the word Valentine in it.....sexy, nothing there. I'm confused!!!

So Napster do you and the Best Buy people actually communicate with each other? If I was a first time subscriber I would be asking myself, 'Where are these so-called Valentine playlists that they mention in the ad? Now since I know how deceitful Napster is in it's advertising, I'm gonna guess it is the 'Romantic' playlists?

Now yer saying, "c'mon dash stop being so hard on nappy, deceitful?"
Yes, deceitful. Let me finish the rest of the ad. "Listen to over 9 million full-length songs for 3 months and keep the 15 songs you want for only $15. Compatible with any MP3-enabled device." Napster doesn't give the full story. They let you read into the lie.
1) "Any MP3-enabled device". That line there makes you think that Napster has an iPhone app that is active. It does NOT. All that means that the free 15 MP3's that you downloaded will play on any device, including iPhone. You can NOT listen/stream music from Napster on an iPhone. No app, no Napster.
2) "Listen to over 9 million full-length songs". Another Napster lie, especially if you use Napster-To-Go. There are over 1 million Napster 30 second snippets of songs. Why they continue to promote this lie is beyond me. 30 seconds is not full-length songs.
