I'm an employee and I am now frustrated after calling the ego hr support number. Is the center in India? If it is local, I am all for hiring immigrants but why are all the people so hard to understand?!?! Not to mention, the number they gave me to get my password reset is just an endless ringing and then a message telling me they are disconnecting my call. If it could be made local and easy to ...

The only problem with that is that not everyone would log out of their account. Your personal information might be left up for the next guy to take your music and possibly charge more to your account. It just doesn't make sense.
Plus, what happens if the computer in the store has a virus? Do you want to use an infected computer that could infect your MP3 player?

I just have to say that we contact customers to let them know that we are always approachable for assistance. I have had numerous customers walk out (throughout my 3 year career) because they were never helped. The little black things in employees ears are radios. They can tell other employee that you have been taken care of and that you prefer to not be bothered. Let them know. I broadcast over the radio all the time if a customer asks me to leave them alone. I usually say "Hey everyone. The customer in printers asked me to inform everyone that she/he prefers to be left to research on their own. They told me that they would find an associate for help. Please do not ignore them, but just keep them in mind." This way we both win. You will be acknowledged but not ignored.

Posted 8 months ago in response to All your cameras in the store should have batteries in them so you can test the zoom, etc.
I know what you mean! I work in that department and feel the pain everyday. Unfortunately, a lot of the cameras are not supplied with the proper power sources. No one is to blame. Even if they are plugged in, they might have a bad mount. Constant pulling on the security device wears out the power source. Replacing the security unit is expensive. I personally try to have fresh batteries and power sources for the devices. But I am not at the store every day from open to close. We strive to be a team, but I am first to admit, we have losing streaks. Giving this idea DOES help the situation though. Hopefully corporate will see this and push to get proper sources to the stores.
Thanks for the concern. I was hoping someone besides an employee would mention something. :)

Not to say you are wrong, but I have been in the camera department for three years. There is not a day that I am scheduled and asked to head to cameras. There is no longer a set department for cameras. I am now in charge of gaming, music, movies, and car electronics on top of cameras and camcorders. If you feel the employee is not up to par, just ask them if they could get an expert. It does not hurt our feelings, it hurts our feelings when you don't say anything. I am always flattered to be asked for specifically. So let us know. We need feedback to improve! :)
Thank you for speaking up.

This poses a problem. I would be super offended if everyone could change the photos daily. I know that there are some creepy people that shop at Best Buy. Who knows what they would submit. I don't want to see photos of naked people when I am buying a camera thank you.
Flag as inappropriateHave you asked an associate to change a photo? I know that they could put a customers photo in the frame if they deem it appropriate.
to .Chris, I agree with the need for the alesito to be more clear ;)
