Reward Zone Points Redemption

Attach 'gift certificates' attained with a Reward Zone card directly to the card that each individual has, so when it's scanned at the register it will automatically apply discounts. This will eliminate waste/cost involved in mailing them or the hassle of having to print them out. Will create more positive brand resonance with those that already hold Best Buy near and dear. Make things easier for your best customers - and they'll love you back.

Reward Zone Birthday Cards

You send the Reward Zone Birthday Cards out, but I can't apply them to video games? What gives? If you're going to send a Birthday Card, and it's not a gift certificate, let your customers spend it on what they want to buy for their birthday.

Special card for Gamers Club members

I think getting a special card for Gamers Club members will help employees differentiate Gamers Club members from normal RZ members.

With this card, perhaps it would raise awareness of the existence of the club, and possibly allow for more employees to point out special offers for those members. Not to mention- it would make the member feel special, having a special card and everything. Especially if it was extra special for premier silver members.

Furthermore, it would be fantastic if maybe these cards could come in branded designs for various games. But a generic design would do, too.

Better Rewardzone Gamer's Club Offers

It'd be great if Best Buy would offer a lot more gaming special offers more frequently to rewardzone members had a lot more offers to chose from and more bonus points for games when you buy them with the special offer instead of 150 points...bring in 250 points.

More visibility to Reward Zone Gamer's Club and special offers.

It would be great if I talked to a best buy employee in regards to a Gamer's Club special offer and they instantly knew what I was talking about.

I joined the Gamer's Club of Reward Zone a week or two after it first launched. It seems that since then and even today, that no employee of either Best Buy or Reward Zone customer service (online, on the phone or in-store) has any idea that Gamer's Club even exists, let alone the special offers that are being offered for its members. This can be extremely frustrating when something doesn't go right with one of those special offers. Or in my case- multiple special offers.

If employees were informed of Gamer's Club, and they knew about the offers that were going on- it would be fantastic. Otherwise there is a lot of confusion and hassle revolved around the entire situation.

It seems that some employees are completely incompetent when it comes to talking about the latest video game software or hardware releases. They simply do not know or understand the market or "what's hot."

Imagine going into a computer specialist shop and the owner has no idea what Windows 7 is. You might be pretty frustrated right? You would probably take your business elsewhere - some place that is knowledgeable about the product you're looking for.

Imagine how you would feel if you went into Best Buy to pick up a BIG video game release that you pre-ordered (Batmah Arkham Asylum), and the employees at Best Buy have no idea that the game was even being released, let alone where your copy of the pre-order was. This is exactly what happened to me. Finally after going back and forth between several employees, someone finally realized it was a "dot com" order. Apparently "dot com" orders are kept in a special area, which makes no sense to me. A pre-order should be a pre-order no matter how you pre-order it. But I am going on a tangent now. Totally different suggestion.

Getting back to the original idea- I feel that Best Buy stores should all have at least 1 expert on staff at all times in each area of the store. If that one person knew every little thing about Gamer's Club and the latest releases- it would give me reason to have faith that Best Buy is the leader in this industry and that I have no other excuses to go find another company to shop with.

Printing of Reward Zone certificates in stores.

Many of times I am out near a Best Buy, and do not stop in since I did not bring my reward zone certificates with me. Sometimes I can get on an employees computer and they let me print out the certificates, but there is no easy way to do this, at least at the stores near me. Adding a Kiosk to be able to log in, and print my certificates, would make going to Best Buy not such a planned outing,

Making Reward Zone Premier Silver better

Being a Reward Zone Premier Silver member meant that you could get hard to find items before everyone else. Things like the Palm Pre, Wii and new video games. Especially around the Holidays! I want to get the gifts my family want, and then focus my time on enjoying quality time with them. Last year I spent too much time shopping around and trying to find a place that had a Wii in-stock and would hold it for me by the time I could drive there.

Link RewardZone accounts to my credit card(s)

One of the things I find redundant and slightly annoying is the process of giving the clerk my phone number in front of (and ear shot of) all of the other customers in line so that my purchases can be linked to my RewardZone account. This has actually resulted in someone I do not know calling me after "over hearing" my number.

I would like to see Best Buy link my credit card to this information (I only use one of two when at the stores). So that instead of the current process, I could just swipe my card and then the RZ info would automatically be matched.

More and better reward zone offers. The current ones are kinda lame sometimes ... ok, most of the times. I do like getting those 10% coupons. Work on multi-tiered reward zone memberships. The person that just signed up should get 10% and the lifer should get 12% off any item including specials, sale items, etc.

Force requirement of code or printed coupon for Gamers Club special offers.

If the special offers available to Gamers Club members required a code to enter online, or a coupon to be printed/scanned in-store, it would:

1. Help raise awareness of the existence of Gamers Club (to the employees)
2. Help ensure that any special offers for the purchase are actually received.

In my experience, I have heard nothing back on the special offers that do not require an in-store coupon. However, when the offer requires a printed coupon- I always get what I'm supposed to.

Assurance that I am receiving what the offer is supposed to award is a great feeling. When I bought Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, I was supposed to get a free hat in the mail. But there was no confirmation of any sort- and nobody in the store mentioned it.... I don't even know if I will be receiving it. If there was a way to make this type of thing easier or.... at least provide some way of knowing whether or not the special offer has been fulfilled- that would be amazing.

In-Store Advanced Interactive Help Station

Unfortunately, even though Best Buy employees try to help all their customers they all aren’t always helped. If there was an interactive station which includes: LCD touch screen, speakers, mic, headset, and more. This will allow the customer to get the best experience possible.

Example: Bob goes into Best Buy just to get a wireless router, but when he gets in the computer department there is no one to help. So he looks around and sees the NEED HELP center. He then clicks on the network icon and it will assist him on getting the right router. And if he requires additional help, then a live specialist will appear on screen to answer any questions. Also the customer can also scan products at this station for price check. Also it will display a map like view for each product that is searched to make it easier to find. And if the customer needs a Geek Squad Agent to set up the network then the live specialist on screen will set up appointments and take their payment with a credit card swipe or cash.

Will have discounts, coupons, gift cards and other depending on how long they had to wait.

Each department will have a few stations designed specifically for each department i.e., music/movie dept will allow customer to scan disc and get a preview.

Hassle Free Points

With all Reward Zone members:
When we go to check out, in stores, with our reward zone card or phone number, it not only give us points for our purchase, but it automatically takes off, or brings up, any reward zone coupons and certificates that we have in the packages grey box (on the register monitor) at the end of our sale that gives us the option to choose to use or save up our reward zone certificates or coupons. Also, like a bank we would receive a statement via e-mail telling us our point balance and what certificates we have used/not used.
This would be convenient in that it would save on paper, more-so than switching to online rewardzone through e-mail did, it would stop all confusion with reward zone accounts altogether (as far as the how-tos, or troubleshooting and not being able to sign onto myrewards online), and it would make for simpler check out with not having to dig for coupons at the check out and/or have left them at home to expire.

Eliminate Reward Zone Mailings

Switch this to an online distribution format, saving you, I assume, several hundred thousands in mailing and shipping costs while reducing your paper usage. You can also track the open rates, redemption rates, etc. through analytics a lot easier. I think thats a win-win all around.

Update Reward Zone Mall

Being able to buy things online through the reward zone online mall is great, but I've found a couple problems. First, all of the links do not work for me. I use both Firefox and IE7, and when you click on some of the links, a white page comes up that says "empty body". Second, 6-8 weeks to get the points? Why so long?
