It'd be great if... we could get a decent upgrade. I am an employee for Best Buy and I cannot tell you how many times I have had a customer call in and the computer is slow or just plain STOPS (or worse closes me right out of everything). How about an upgrade? No more dinosaur computers. We represent top of the line electronics but work with less than is socially acceptable. Please.

Please educate Best Buy employees about this site. I have spoken to several and they have no idea what this site is or why it is valuable.

You have the two extremes. You have the video game and DVD department with 5 or 6 floor staff milling around constantly asking if I need help and then you have the computer, television and camera departments with one employee trying to assist 10 customers, all asking questions at the same time. Why not have floater staff moving from one department to another, fluent in various product knowledge...

Very few of your sales reps can explain what camera RAW means or why 64 bit isn't that big of a deal. Fewer still can advise me which computers place nice with Ubuntu, or what a heat sink is. I'd like to know who your geniuses are. I'd also like it if you paid them more.

It'd be great if... The store hours were a little more accurate. (maybe not neccessarily during holidays but) there are too many stores that have incorrect hours of operation posted on the site.

There was a click to chat right next to the click to talk button. it was a just as convenient as the click to talk option, it would be great if online shoppers still had both options

Have a better return policy. I returned two ink cartridges today that were purchased with cash at Best Buy two weeks prior. Both items were incompatible with my printer. I had no receipt. I work for a library network. Our network contracts with a service (Overdrive) that lends ebooks to patrons with a library card. I think this site is very useful, but wonder why it's not on the front page of the Best Buy website? Best Buy should feature it more prominently on the website. Perhaps a feature break out on the front page, or at least some sort of link similar to the "we'll call you back" at the bottom of the other pages.

I would like to see Best Buy create the "GreenSquad", like GeekSquad but for green products, service, and installation. They could install solar panels, and other energy products for homes in the local are of the store. Seems like this is something that Best Buy would be very interested in.

The reviews are hardly ever relevant. We should be able to rely on the customer reviews for additional product specifications and insights.

Car install paper work should be digital, so if a customer wants to put the factory components back in their vehicle free of charge they are not looking for paperwork from 5 years ago that they probably dont have anyway. This will be less headache for the customer to get installs done in a timely fashion. This also will help installers determine who,what,where and when components were installed.

One of the things I find redundant and slightly annoying is the process of giving the clerk my phone number in front of (and ear shot of) all of the other customers in line so that my purchases can be linked to my RewardZone account. This has actually resulted in someone I do not know calling me after "over hearing" my number. I would like to see Best Buy link my credit card to this information...

It would be great if Best Buy could have mobile checkout cashiers, borrowing from the Apple Store a bit, with handheld devices to check out shoppers looking to purchase with a Credit Card. Just have the receipt printer up at the Loss Prevention desk. On really busy days one or two cashiers could even go into the long lines to check out customers on the spot.
