Random I know, but a big beef against the best buy aesthetic is the ugly carpet you have in store. There is no design or appeal to it. How about different flooring styles to reflect the different areas. Like Bamboo Wood in the Stereos, a nice dark Berber rib (from recylables) in gaming, beautifully stained concrete in appliances. Browsing for big purchase items should be in a place that feels like they cater to you, not their employees...and an eco material push could help company PR.

Forget all that, why not just be like big chain retails that are at theme attraction, like Niketown, Burberry, Sony Style, Bath & Body Works, GapKids, Coach, Tommy Bahama's and Banana Republic at The Forum Shops at Caesars. How they look nicer then when they are at are local shopping mall like Westfield whatever in which states and cities. And also how shops look better at Downtown Disney then at are local shopping mall. With that the aestheic and design will really look nice are local Best Buy stores, using those as a guide for new stores and remodling or updating current stores. It might help get more costumers in and currents back. Becuse they'll say the aesthetic and design just look so nice.

I have always like the theme attraction style looking and feel on big retail chains. That when ever they are able to do that to there stores. I hope that Best Buy will think about it for stores in whatever states and the cities. That way locals there will be able to enjoy it more when shopping .
